Camara Taylor: Flourish

A snap.

A nod,
a call.
a twist,
of the hip,
a flick of the wrist.

Flesh bent and unwinding-

Flourish was an exhibition of new ideas in progress by Camara Taylor, with a sound work made in collaboration with DJ and promoter Sarra Wild (OH141).

The work stems from a sprawling body of research that is now being understood within a framework of practicing refusal and (perhaps) an engagement with tidalectics, as termed by Kamau Braithwaite.
