Visa to Heaven is an intervention by Ayọ̀ Akínwándé as part of 'UNTIL'. a solo exhibition by Nick Cave at Tramway.

As part of his major solo exhibition at Tramway this year, Cave invited 8 artists to create a response to UNTIL to be presented at any point through the run of the exhibition. Call and Response offers the exhibition space as an ‘alternative town hall’ for performance, discussion and events.

Visa to Heaven responds quite directly to Nick Cave's question "is there racism in heaven" and builds on Akínwándé's existing research and will be placed at the gate's of Cave's astonishing Crystal Cloudscape sculpture in Tramway 1. The work comprises of a new sound work alongside three prints.
